Three scientists awarded the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry

On October 9th, at the announcement of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry held in Stockholm, Sweden, the screen displayed the award winners David Baker from the University of Washington in the United States, Demis Hassabis and John Kemper from Deep Thinking, an artificial intelligence company owned by Google in London, UK. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced on the 9th that the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry will be awarded to three scientists in recognition of their contributions in protein design and protein structure prediction.
