The Navy has recently launched the 2025 recruitment and selection process, continuing to select carrier based aircraft flight trainees for high school graduates and undergraduate and graduate students from universities. The target audience for the Navy's recruitment of pilots in 2025 includes ordinary high school graduates, fresh graduates of science and engineering majors from ordinary higher education institutions admitted according to the undergraduate admission line (special type enrollment control line), and fresh master's graduates who have obtained full-time degrees in science and engineering majors during their undergraduate or master's studies. There is no plan to recruit female pilot students. In the recruitment brochure released, the Navy has adjusted the medical appraisal standards for recruiting flight students, relaxed the standards related to ophthalmology, and clarified that young people who have undergone vision correction surgery can be recruited as Navy flight students. This means that ambitious young people who love national defense and are committed to the sea and air have the potential to become military pilots after undergoing vision correction surgery. The relevant person in charge of the Navy's recruitment department introduced that the purpose of adjusting relevant medical standards is to further improve the quality and efficiency of the Navy's recruitment of flight students, broaden the scope of recruitment, and select more outstanding young people to join the Navy's flight talent team. The new medical identification standards have been thoroughly researched and demonstrated, taking into account the recruitment standards of military pilots from some military powers around the world, and have the characteristics of our military.
