China supports accelerating the implementation of the Global Digital Compact adopted at future United Nations summits. On that day, Dai Bing stated in his speech at the general debate on social development issues in the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly that insufficient attention and investment are the fundamental reasons for the serious lag in the process of social development. The Future Compact adopted at the United Nations Future Summit clearly states that sustainable development will always be the central goal of multilateralism. China calls for translating political commitments into concrete actions to promote the return of social development to the right track. China supports the World Social Summit to be held in Qatar next year, and hopes that the summit will focus on poverty reduction, full employment, and social integration, and achieve ambitious results. Dai Bing said that achieving social development requires both self-reliance of the countries involved and strong partnerships. Developed countries should effectively fulfill their aid commitments, and international financial institutions should accelerate governance reforms to provide more financial support for the social development of countries in the 'global South'. We must resolutely oppose "decoupling and chain breaking", "small courts with high walls", and indiscriminate unilateral sanctions, and safeguard the development rights of developing countries.
