Exploring Mobilization Information Services from the 'Melon and Fruit Map'
2024-09-27
Not long ago, Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province released the location information of 174 temporary sales points for fruits and melons. The public can find the nearest sales point by checking the "Fruit and Melon Map" on their mobile phones. Xi'an has launched the 'Melon and Fruit Map', which not only facilitates the sales channels of agricultural products, but also facilitates the daily lives of citizens, reflecting a refined management approach like embroidery. From this, the author thinks that our national defense is a national defense for all, and in relevant information services, we should fully consider the needs of the masses, guide everyone to know their responsibilities while being informed, and participate in and support national defense construction while understanding it. For example, most civil air defense projects are used to conceal personnel, and citizens can only quickly enter the project for concealment during wartime by knowing its location. If one is not familiar with it during peacetime, they will be "blinded" when encountering problems, which will affect the efficiency of civil air defense operations during wartime. Fortunately, cities such as Wuhan in Hubei Province and Luohe in Henan Province have used electronic maps on smartphones to add information on civil air defense projects. Users can follow the map to find nearby civil air defense projects, and the question of "where are the civil air defense projects around me" has been answered. This year, Shanghai also upgraded the "Civil Air Defense Map" mini program. After citizens load it, they can not only find civil air defense projects, but also make appointments to visit civil air defense education venues and learn about air defense and disaster prevention knowledge. This approach is worth learning from. For example, many national defense venues built in various places have both historical and regional characteristics, using sound, light, and electrical technologies, and have complete content in terms of text, images, and objects. However, due to their lack of inclusion in local tourism maps and student study venues lists, not only do tourists from other places miss them, but local residents also pay little attention to them. In recent years, some venues have made efforts to break through in publicity and mobilization, achieving significant results. The Jiangsu Provincial Civil Defense Education Experience Hall, in collaboration with multiple units, introduced different groups of people to visit the venue, while also going out to promote civil defense knowledge and introduce the experience hall project, transforming the "waiting at home" into "opening channels to attract traffic" and maintaining a high utilization rate of the venue. Some defense venues with low popularity should learn from the practice of "melon and fruit maps" to provide sufficient information supply for the "demand side", and change the situation of "neglected vehicles and horses in front of the door" in the process of achieving supply and demand information exchange and docking. If the masses can basically meet their shopping needs by seeing the 'melon and fruit map', then the national defense mobilization agencies need to see precise and delicate 'determination maps' and' data tables' in order to better carry out their tasks. After the establishment of national defense mobilization offices in various regions, visits and research were conducted on member units and key potential units of the National Mobilization Committee, and a lot of high-quality potential information was obtained. It is necessary to timely plot this information into a potential distribution map, so as to have a clear understanding of the mobilization potential of various industries, including what, how much, how, and who to recruit, and provide necessary data support and information services for national defense mobilization command and decision-making. This is another inspiration brought to us by the "Fruit Map". The advantages of visual charts are well known. Plotting numbers into charts and creating 3D animations from 2D charts have become important ways to assist decision-making in various industries. The relevant departments should use the baton of inspection and evaluation to focus on solving the problem of "not knowing, but not doing". On the one hand, proficiency in using potential data to formulate contingency plans can be used as an assessment content to guide relevant personnel to adopt visual and intuitive methods to strengthen their basic skills. On the other hand, regular practical training activities are carried out to make it commonplace for everyone to understand and familiarize themselves with potential data. Not only on the computer, but also in their own minds, high-quality potential charts are drawn to quickly assist in command and decision-making. (New Society)
