Zhao Leji stated that China has always placed Cambodia in a special and important position in its neighboring diplomacy, and is willing to maintain high-level strategic communication with Cambodia and firmly support each other on issues involving each other's core interests. Accelerate the alignment of development strategies, implement the new version of the action plan for building a China Cambodia community with a shared future, and comprehensively promote cooperation in six major fields: politics, production capacity, agriculture, energy, security, and culture. Zhao Leji stressed that the legislative bodies of China and Cambodia have close exchanges. Today, the two sides jointly signed the cooperation agreement between the National People's Congress of China and the Cambodian Parliament, which will elevate the bilateral cooperation to a new height. The National People's Congress of China is willing to work together with the Cambodian legislature to play the role of a counterpart exchange mechanism, comprehensively promote cooperation between special committees, bilateral friendship groups, deputies to the National People's Congress and parliamentarians, and local legislative bodies, strengthen exchanges of experience in legislation, supervision, and other work, and provide legal guarantees for practical cooperation between the two countries. Zhao Leji introduced the relevant situation of the People's Congress system. Kunsodali said that the Cambodian and Chinese people have a brotherly friendship.
