More than half of high-quality ASEAN fruits such as durian and mangosteen, which are deeply loved by Chinese consumers, are imported through Guangxi ports. Meanwhile, Guangxi is the largest fruit producing province in China, with nearly 300 fruit varieties. The exhibition center of the China ASEAN Fruit Trading Center for the first time aims to serve as a display platform, investment attraction center, and publicity window, promoting the docking and cooperation of the China ASEAN fruit industry. After China opens up frozen durian and fresh coconut market access to Vietnam, the export situation of Vietnamese fruits and vegetables will become more optimistic, and the fruit industry will have a strong development momentum. Du Nanzhong believes that Guangxi has a large number of designated regulatory sites for imported fruits, providing a convenient trade channel for ASEAN fruits and other agricultural products to enter the Chinese market. The construction of the China ASEAN Fruit Trading Center will effectively promote the development of China ASEAN fruit trade. He expressed that Vietnam is willing to work with China to promote the upgrading of cooperation in various fields, accelerate the interconnection of cross-border railways and other infrastructure, and promote the stable and far-reaching development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China. The venue for this event is the China ASEAN (Nanning) Fruit Trading Center, located in the China Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park. It is led by Zhang Songsheng, Honorary President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The core area of the project is planned to cover an area of approximately 600 acres and introduce advanced wholesale market concepts from European countries to provide customers with a green and efficient fruit trading venue.
