The reporter learned from the Energy Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region that the Xinjiang Coal Trading Center recently officially released the Xinjiang Coal Price Index, and first launched five thermal coal indices including CCI Xinjiang 5500, CCI Xinjiang 5000, CCI Xinjiang 5500 vehicle plate price, CCI Xinjiang 5000 vehicle plate price, and CCI Yumen Xinjiang Coal 5000, filling the gap in price indices in the coal industry in Xinjiang. This price index was jointly compiled by the Xinjiang Coal Trading Center, the only electronic trading venue for spot coal in Xinjiang, approved by the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the local financial supervision and administration bureau, and Fenwei Digital Information Technology Co., Ltd. It took nearly 3 years to compile based on data collection, simulation operation, and other work. As of now, the index has been simultaneously released on the Xinjiang Coal Trading Center and the official website of China Coal Resources Network. This is the first Xinjiang coal price index that mainly serves the transportation of Xinjiang coal, successfully achieving a breakthrough in the Xinjiang coal price index from scratch. The Energy Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region stated that it will strengthen guidance for the Xinjiang Coal Trading Center, continuously enhance the system construction and market monitoring analysis of coal price index, gradually establish price indices for more advantageous varieties, and provide scientific price references for enterprises.
