Kunyuan "is a professional language model dedicated to geographic science, with functions such as" understanding geography "," precise mapping "," understanding people's hearts "," intelligent generation of maps ", etc. It can answer geographic professional questions, intelligently analyze geographic literature, query geographic data resources, mine and analyze geographic data, and draw thematic maps. It is reported that in terms of "understanding geography", "Kunyuan" has learned 32 billion word elements and over 40000 high-quality geography instructions. Compared to the General Language Model, it is more familiar with the language patterns, professional terminology, and domain knowledge of geography, and has improved accuracy by 31.3% on the geography benchmark test set. In terms of "precision mapping", "Kunyuan" is able to answer geographical questions while searching for different geographical elements based on generated textual answers, and matching geographical landscape photos, thematic maps, or schematic charts to present to the questioner. In terms of "understanding people's hearts", "Kunyuan" fully considers the cognitive and expressive differences among geography enthusiasts, geography majors, and researchers, and provides answers that are adapted to users' knowledge structures through the co-occurrence of graphics and text.
