Qingyang, a revolutionary old area in Gansu Province, has entered a new track of "digital economy"

Building industrial parks, expanding computing power, gathering clusters, and promoting integration... In recent years, the revolutionary old area of Qingyang, Gansu Province, has leveraged the "East Data West Computing" project to ride the wave of new quality productivity, with tens of thousands of standard racks operating efficiently. Computing power services have been gradually exported to the Yangtze River Delta and Beijing Tianjin Hebei regions, embarking on a new track of transformation, upgrading, and intelligent empowerment. Entering the 17000 acre National Data Center Cluster (Qingyang, Gansu) "East Data West Computing" Industrial Park, ongoing projects are booming, and projects are operating in a standardized manner. A large number of digital economy enterprises with strong driving force, fast fission, and good benefits have successively landed and put into operation, and infrastructure construction such as park roads is rapidly advancing. In 1934, the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries established the Shaanxi Gansu Border Revolutionary Base in Qingyang, Gansu Province, with Nanliang as the center. This base area later provided a foothold for the Party Central Committee and various Red Army Long March routes, and provided a starting point for the main force of the Eighth Route Army to rush to the front line of resistance against Japan. Time has passed, and Qingyang is promoting green and low-carbon transformation, increasingly becoming a hub node for the national "East Calculation and West Calculation" project. In 2022, the country launched the construction of a national integrated computing power network hub node and the "East West Computing" project, and Qingyang successfully entered the eight major hub nodes and ten major data clusters. Qingyang is located at the border of Shaanxi, Gansu, and Ningxia provinces. The layout of computing power network hub nodes here can fully radiate to the western region, and the radiation path to all parts of the country is relatively even. The relatively low temperature here is suitable for data center construction and operation, which can balance efficiency and performance. At the same time, there are abundant wind and solar power resources in the local area, and the potential for efficient and comprehensive utilization of energy resources is enormous. Focusing on the various data on the monitor, the network operation and maintenance engineer walked into the computer room to check the operation of the equipment. Under the water surface, one main engine box after another emits scattered starlight. According to the staff of the Til Technology Immersion Liquid Cooling Intelligent Computing Center, the center can provide 170 PFlops of computing power, roughly equivalent to 2 million ordinary computers running simultaneously. Mi Shitao, Deputy Director of Qingyang Data Bureau, introduced that the local government is seizing the opportunity of "artificial intelligence+" and accelerating the construction of 10 green data centers. 20000 standard racks have been built and put into operation, with a computing power scale of 19000 P. In order to ensure efficient operation of computing power, Qingyang has established a high-throughput, high-quality, and low latency high-speed transmission network, making cross domain computing power networks accessible in all directions. At present, Qingyang has built direct links to Xi'an, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, greatly reducing network latency. It has launched fiber optic cable projects such as Xi'an Qingyang Zhongwei and Qingyang Xi'an Zhengzhou, providing network support for the development of "East Data West Computing". Since the beginning of this year, the development of Qingyang's digital industry has been accelerating rapidly. In August, Qingyang signed a contract to join the China Computing Network Alliance, sharing computing power, data, and applications with cities such as Guiyang, Zhengzhou, Shenzhen, and Shaoguan, accelerating the construction of the "Western Land Sea New Channel". According to the Qingyang Data Bureau, in just over two years, Qingyang has connected with 2886 digital economy enterprises, signed 746 contracts, and registered 219 subsidiaries. Digital enterprises have grown from scratch, covering multiple fields such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data services, and smart applications. The industrial ecosystem has gone from building chains to extending chains, from single to comprehensive. As the scale of computing power continues to expand, local computing resources are continuously being transmitted to the Yangtze River Delta and other regions. According to the Qingyang Computing Dispatch Service Platform, the Qingyang National Computing Hub has completed 144 computing resource transactions with a transaction volume of over 200 million yuan. Sun Bin, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., said, "Qingyang, a revolutionary old area, has great potential to integrate into the wave of digital economy. The rise of digital economy represented by artificial intelligence will undoubtedly bring profound changes to the economic and social development of this city
