The 47th WorldSkills Competition has concluded, and China ranks first in the gold medal standings

The 47th WorldSkills Competition concluded on the evening of the 15th in Lyon, France. The Chinese delegation performed outstandingly in this competition, winning a total of 36 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 4 bronze medals, and 8 awards in all 59 events, ranking first in the gold medal table, medal table, and team total score. Chinese athletes have won gold medals in projects such as aircraft maintenance, automotive technology, autonomous mobile robots, 3D digital gaming art, and cooking (Western cuisine). Among them, the CNC milling project achieved five consecutive gold medals, while the masonry and fashion technology projects achieved four consecutive gold medals. Chinese players Lu Yanlin, Zhan Xianda, and Ma Jiajia from the Manufacturing Team Challenge project won the National Best Player Award. At the closing ceremony, Shanghai, China, as the host of the 48th WorldSkills Competition, handed over the WorldSkills Competition flag to Lyon, France. This competition will be held in Lyon from September 10th to 15th, with approximately 1400 participants from nearly 70 countries and regions. The competition includes 59 events in six categories: transportation and logistics, structural and architectural technology, manufacturing and engineering technology, information and communication technology, creative arts and fashion, and social and personal services. China sent 68 athletes to participate in all competition events. (New Society)
