On September 12th, 2024, the China International Fair for Trade in Services officially kicked off, and the cultural and creative exhibition area hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage made a wonderful appearance at Hall 9 of Shougang Park. The theme of this year's cultural and creative exhibition area is "Culture, Creativity, and Life", highlighting the "magnificent central axis, inheriting and benefiting the people". More than 1200 high-quality new cultural and creative products from 46 key cultural and creative units and high-quality cultural enterprises in Beijing have been carefully selected. The scale of participating units and the quantity and quality of exhibited products have both reached new highs, presenting a cultural and creative feast for the masses. In order to provide the public with a comprehensive cultural and creative experience within the limited exhibition space, the organizers have carefully planned and launched four themed exhibition areas, including "Beijing Central Axis Culture", "Great Wall Grand Canal Culture", "Beijing Tianjin Hebei Cultural and Creative Collaborative Development", and "Beijing Museum Boutique", in conjunction with the successful application for World Heritage status of the Central Axis and the 10th anniversary of coordinated development of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. Thousands of cultural and creative masterpieces have been showcased. On the first day of the event, the most eye-catching attraction on site was undoubtedly the "Beijing Central Axis Cultural Theme Exhibition Area". Cultural and creative masterpieces such as the Xiannong Altar, Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City, Jingshan Mountain, and Bell and Drum Tower were full of "Beijing flavor", while emerging cultural experiences such as the Beijing Central Axis Theme Post Office, Tencent SSV Digital Culture Laboratory, and Quanjude Central Axis Food Ceremony were pleasantly surprised. The dazzling array of cultural and creative activities on the central axis covers various fields such as food, stationery, accessories, and artworks. The exhibition area also combines innovative exhibitions, digital screens, creative time and space cabins, and diverse experiential activities to form a comprehensive cultural experience space from audio-visual, heritage display, cultural and creative development, central axis light and shadow, heritage review, theme activities, technological innovation, to live streaming interaction. It presents the unique achievements of Beijing's central axis that are connected to the past and present, and interweave reality and virtuality in one stop, attracting a continuous stream of visitors to experience the cultural heritage of the central axis. Entering the "Great Wall and Grand Canal Cultural Special Exhibition Area", the decorative shapes of the Great Wall and Grand Canal exhibition area complement the cultural and creative masterpieces of the two world cultural heritage sites. The Great Wall is a popular cultural and creative site throughout the four seasons, such as Mu ornaments, customs clearance discs, Grand Canal dragon diagram combination refrigerator stickers, and Dragon Nine Sons tea pets, which are either grand and majestic or full of vitality, fully demonstrating the unique charm of the Great Wall and Grand Canal as world cultural heritage sites and awakening the public's historical feelings. In the "Beijing Tianjin Hebei Cultural and Creative Exhibition Area", key museums in Beijing such as the Capital Museum, together with Tianjin Museum and Hebei Museum, made their debut in groups. The display cabinet design highlighted the concept of mutual integration and support among the three regions, and the more than 300 most representative cultural and creative products exhibited also reflected the collaborative development achievements of Beijing Tianjin Hebei in the field of culture and museum. The products such as the "Youfenglaiyi Series", "Fushou Culture Series", "Yuhuchun Series", "Boshan Furnace Series" are so beautiful that the public can experience the fun of one-stop cultural and creative gathering in the special exhibition area. The "Beijing Museum Boutique Special Exhibition Area" is also one of the highlights of the exhibition area. More than 20 well-known museums such as the Railway Museum, Baita Temple, Dajue Temple, Tuancheng, Confucius Temple, Wanshou Temple, Wuta Temple, and Natural History Museum bring hundreds of cultural and creative works that combine cultural relics and exquisite design ideas to the audience.
