Li Qiang stated that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Arab countries 40 years ago, bilateral relations have always maintained a vigorous development momentum, and the friendship between the two countries has become stronger and newer over time. In May of this year, President Xi Jinping held a meeting with President Mohammed to jointly draw up a new blueprint for China Arab relations, which pointed out the direction and injected strong impetus for promoting the development of bilateral relations and cooperation.
Li Qiang pointed out that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China Arab relations have developed comprehensively, rapidly, and deeply, practical cooperation in various fields has deepened, and cultural exchanges have become increasingly active. The two countries closely communicate and cooperate on multilateral platforms, continuously contributing to the promotion of regional and global peace, stability, prosperity, and development. I look forward to in-depth exchanges with UAE leaders and friendly individuals from all walks of life, guided by the important consensus of the two heads of state, and taking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as an opportunity to promote the deepening and implementation of the China Arab comprehensive strategic partnership, and achieve more results in exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
Li Qiang arrived in Abu Dhabi after concluding the fourth meeting of the China Saudi Arabia High level Joint Committee and officially visiting Saudi Arabia. When leaving Riyadh, Prince Mohammed, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Province, Saudi Minister of Commerce Kasby, and Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua saw them off at the airport.
