Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Spain. China is willing to take this opportunity with Spain to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continuously build political mutual trust, jointly create a bilateral relationship with strategic determination, focus on high-level docking of development strategies and deep integration of growth drivers, and promote more practical results in mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Li Qiang pointed out that China is willing to expand bilateral opening up with Spain, encourage the development of cross-border e-commerce and convenient logistics, operate the "Yiwu Madrid" China Europe freight train well, and promote the optimization and development of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. China will provide more convenient support for foreign enterprises such as Spain to invest in China, and hopes that Spain will provide a fair, safe, non discriminatory, and predictable business environment for Chinese enterprises to invest in Spain. China is willing to focus on green and innovation with Spain, anchor their respective development and transformation needs, and strengthen cooperation in new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, digital economy, aerospace and other fields. Both sides should deepen cultural, sports, education and other cultural exchanges, and jointly run cooperation projects such as cultural centers. Currently, protectionism and unilateralism are on the rise, and the world economy is facing increasing risks and challenges. The so-called overcapacity of electric vehicles in China is unfounded. China is willing to adhere to open cooperation with Spain, work together to maintain the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization as the core, maintain stable and smooth global industrial and supply chains, and jointly build an open world economy. I hope Spain can play a constructive role in promoting cooperation between China and Europe.
