On September 4th, the joint debugging and testing of the Jingjing high-speed railway was officially launched. The Jingjing high-speed railway line starts from Jingmen City, Hubei Province in the north, connecting to the Yangtze River high-speed railway, and ends at Jingzhou City in the south, connecting to the Hanyi Railway. The launch of this joint debugging and testing marks the critical stage of project acceptance for the Jingjing high-speed railway, laying a solid foundation for its opening and operation at the end of the year. At 7:25 am, the 55510 inspection train departed from Jingzhou Station and headed towards Shayangxi Station, officially starting the joint debugging and testing of the Jingjing high-speed railway. The key to joint debugging and testing lies in the word "joint". The railway department will conduct comprehensive testing on the track, contact network, communication, and signal systems, and adjust any defects found based on the test results until they meet the requirements for high-speed operation and dynamic acceptance. Therefore, the joint debugging and testing is a comprehensive examination of the line. It is reported that the Jingjing high-speed railway connects Jingmen City and Jingzhou City, with a total length of about 77.48 kilometers. The entire line has three stations: Jingmen West, Shayang West, and Jingzhou, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic within this year. At that time, Hubei will achieve "high-speed rail connecting cities and towns". After its opening, the railway running time from Jingmen to Jingzhou will be reduced to 20 minutes, and from Wuhan to Jingmen will also be shortened to less than 2 hours. Xinjiang: China's first regular air route to Armenia opened on September 3rd. CZ5091 flight operated by China Southern Airlines took off from Diwobao International Airport in Urumqi, Xinjiang and headed to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. This route operates every Tuesday and Saturday, with a one-way flight time of approximately 5.5 hours. Previously, there were no direct flights between the two countries, and passengers needed to transfer from Dubai and other places. The opening of the new route will provide convenience for passengers from both countries to travel. Captain Cao Jiyong of China Southern Airlines Xinjiang Branch said, "Passengers arriving in Urumqi can take China Southern Airlines' connecting flights to 35 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc., on the same day, which greatly facilitates the travel of passengers from both places." Yu Xin, the instructor of the Urumqi Exit and Entry Border Inspection Station, said, "The routes that have completed the exit and entry border inspection procedures through Urumqi International Airport have reached 15 countries (regions) and 20 passenger routes. Currently, Urumqi International Airport has direct flights to Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Armenia, three countries that enjoy mutual visa exemption
