The reporter was informed at the media briefing of the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum on the 4th that as of the 3rd, more than 500 representatives of official delegations from more than 90 countries and international organizations, as well as more than 200 Chinese and foreign experts and scholars have confirmed their attendance at the Forum. Wu Jiangang, head of the comprehensive coordination team of the forum's preparatory committee, said the forum will be held at the Beijing International Convention Center from Sept. 12 to 14, with the theme of “Building Peace and Sharing the Future,” and will feature four plenary sessions and eight parallel breakout sessions. Official delegations, including more than 30 defense ministers and army chiefs, as well as representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Secretary General of the Asian Economic Cooperation (AEC), the Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and representatives of NATO, the European Union (EU), and other international and regional organizations will be attending the meeting. In addition, more than 30 former dignitaries and dozens of well-known scholars are among the participants.
