(Henan International), attended the opening ceremony. Vice Premier and Minister of Engineering and Transport Mutuowa delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, thanking China for bringing us a high-quality road and cultivating a group of local small and medium-sized enterprises and skilled workers. Cui Yunke, General Manager of Henan International Namibia Company, said that during the project construction period, the company overcame difficulties such as the epidemic, severe water shortage, and rising prices, solved the employment problem of nearly a thousand people in the local area, taught them construction skills, and helped local small farmers, women, and youth groups increase their income, empowering the coordinated development of the local society. It is reported that the B1 highway, which connects Namibia's largest trading partner South Africa, is the only highway from the country to South Africa and is truly a major transportation artery.
