Li Qiang stated that since the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Laos 30 years ago, they have always respected and treated each other equally, continuously strengthened political mutual trust, and steadily promoted mutually beneficial cooperation. President Xi Jinping and the leaders of your country have jointly decided to elevate the China Laos relationship to a strategic partnership. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Lebanese side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continue to firmly support each other on issues related to each other's core interests, continue traditional friendship, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, continuously enrich the connotation of the China Laos strategic partnership, and join hands and move forward side by side on the path of common development, creating more benefits for the people of the two countries.
Li Qiang pointed out that China is willing to continue to expand the space for mutually beneficial cooperation with Laos, take the high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" as the guide, deepen cooperation in infrastructure, energy, agriculture, textiles, education, tourism and other fields, and explore the potential for cooperation in emerging fields such as green development and digital economy. China is willing to import more high-quality products from Laos, strengthen industrial integration between the two sides, and better achieve complementary advantages. China is willing to work with Laos to actively implement the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative, promote an equal and orderly world multipolarization and inclusive economic globalization, continuously strengthen the power of the global South, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Matkain stated that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations between Laos and China. Laos cherishes its relationship with China and sincerely thanks China for providing valuable support to Laos' economic and social development over the long term. The Lebanese side firmly adheres to the One China principle, supports China in achieving complete reunification, and looks forward to deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, education and other fields under the framework of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation. The Lebanese side highly appreciates the important role played by China in promoting peace and stability in Africa and even the world, and is willing to strengthen communication and cooperation between the two sides in international affairs, promote the African Union's Agenda 2063, and work together to address global challenges.
During the summit, China and Laos will sign multiple bilateral cooperation documents, including the implementation of global development initiatives and news.
