On the evening of August 26th, at the lecture hall of the School of Law and Sociology at Yunnan Normal University, the catchy anti fraud catchphrases of "impersonating the police to make a phone call and demanding cooperation" were welcomed by more than 300 college freshmen in the audience. Officer Ni Hui's lecture made anti fraud propaganda easy to remember and fun, and we benefited greatly, "said freshman Chen Xiaomei. Ni Hui, 55 years old this year, is a community police officer at Wujiaying Police Station of Chenggong Branch of Kunming Public Security Bureau. Engaged in anti fraud propaganda work, originated from a case 12 years ago. In the beginning of the 2012 school season, Ni Hui accidentally heard several students discussing that a new student had just reported to school and was scammed out of 6000 yuan. Ni Hui felt very uncomfortable in his heart: "Fraud is preventable, I have to do something!" To prevent students from being deceived less, the key is prevention, mainly through publicity. After sorting out a large number of campus fraud cases, Ni Hui thought to himself that if he could summarize the fraud tactics and promote them to students through storytelling, it might be effective. On September 9, 2012, in a small classroom, Ni Hui's first anti fraud lecture kicked off. I gathered some student cadres at that time to share my summarized fraud cases and anti fraud knowledge. Unexpectedly, many universities invited him to give anti fraud lectures after learning about it. With vivid cases and humorous teaching style, the "Ni Hui Anti Fraud Lecture" is highly popular among teachers and students. In order to improve the effectiveness of anti fraud propaganda, based on the analysis of a large number of cases, Ni Hui sorted out the fraud methods commonly encountered by college students into seven types: online loans, part-time jobs, subsidies, borrowing money, winning prizes, impersonation, and online shopping. He also created a large number of anti fraud catchphrases to help students quickly master the essentials of anti fraud. Ni Hui, who has been engaged in anti fraud work for a long time, summarized the "10 word" anti fraud work method as follows: "Calm down, verify, ask twice, delete, and virtually". He told the students to calm down when encountering suspicious situations, seek verification from teachers or police officers, ask if they know each other, ask if they dare to meet him, delete all text messages related to transfers, and use virtual questions to test each other. This method quickly spread among students and became their anti fraud experience post. Under the guidance of Ni Hui, more community police officers have joined the anti fraud propaganda team. Since the beginning of this year, the number of reported cases of electronic fraud in the university city area has decreased by 33.62% year-on-year. I have to run ahead of the fraudsters, maybe one less person can be deceived a minute earlier! "Over the past 12 years, he has held a total of 1073 anti fraud lectures in more than 10 universities in the university city, covering 450000 teachers and students, receiving more than 15000 consultations and dissuasions, effectively avoiding economic losses of more than 6 million yuan.
