The joint training of the Chinese and Thai air forces for "Eagle Strike-2024" has successfully concluded

On the morning of August 29th, the closing ceremony of the "Eagle Strike-2024" joint training between the Chinese and Thai air forces was held at the Ulong Base of the Thai Air Force. At the closing ceremony, representatives of the Chinese and Thai participating officers and soldiers lined up neatly, with strict military appearance. The heads of the joint training observation teams from both sides made concluding speeches. During the 19 day joint training, the Chinese side deployed various types of equipment such as fighter jets, bombers, helicopters, and mixed formations with the Thai Air Force to successfully complete various training tasks. On August 22, at the Ulong Air Force Base in Thailand, a Chinese Air Force J-10S fighter jet participating in the "Eagle Strike-2024" joint training with the Thai Air Force slid towards the takeoff line. This joint training highlights the characteristics of practicality, collaboration, and confrontation. It closely follows the standards of practical combat and sets the exercise background. It focuses on command coordination, troop deployment, tactical application, and other aspects of combat planning. For the first time, ground guidance and special operations forces are integrated into the system, successfully completing training courses such as early warning detection, special aircraft confrontation, close air support, breakthrough assault, and battle injury rescue. It effectively improves the practical training level and collaborative combat capability of the troops, and tests the comprehensive support effectiveness of the troops. On August 22nd, Chinese Air Force helicopters and Thai Air Force helicopters participating in the "Eagle Strike-2024" joint training with the Thai Air Force flew to the training area at the Ulong Base of the Thai Air Force. It is understood that this is the seventh joint training of the air forces of China and Thailand. Both sides trust each other, train together, and learn from each other, withstand the test, expand their capabilities and qualities, and create a new situation of friendly cooperation between the air forces of the two countries to address common security challenges. On August 22, the Chinese Air Force Special Operations Team and the Thai Air Force Special Operations Team participated in the "Eagle Strike-2024" joint training of the Chinese and Thai Air Forces at the Ulong Base of the Thai Air Force for search and rescue operations. On August 26th, the Chinese Air Force J-10C fighter jets participating in the "YJ-2024" joint training with the Thai Air Force's "Eagle Lion" fighter squadron set sail. On August 26th, a formation of Chinese Air Force J-10C fighter jets participating in the "Eagle Strike-2024" joint training with the Thai Air Force took off from the Ulong Base of the Thai Air Force. On August 26th, Chinese Air Force medical rescue personnel participating in the "Eagle Strike-2024" joint training with Thai Air Force medical rescue personnel rescued "wounded" on a helicopter. On August 28th, at the Ulong Base of the Thai Air Force, the Chinese Air Force ground air defense units participating in the "Eagle Strike-2024" joint training with the Thai Air Force are organizing air resistance training.
