Like their group of 'little commissioners', in the orchard of Dongwangjiazhuang Village, Gangcheng District, Jinan City, Zhang Shengchen and Guo Puxiao, a 2022 agricultural college student, carried heavy picking tools, baked under the scorching sun, shuttled through muddy paths, participated in the village's apple picking, and learned relevant knowledge about apple planting and picking from the villagers. In the village, one of Zhang Shengchen's important tasks is to promote the use of the rural revitalization station app and collect research data. These days, villagers are worried about how to improve the quality of apples, peaches, and strawberries, prevent frost, and promote flower bud formation. Through the Rural Revitalization Station App, Zhang Shengchen can contact experts from Shandong Agricultural University at any time to help everyone solve practical difficulties. Grassroots is the best classroom, a fertile ground for honing willpower and accumulating experience. The peanuts planted by the villagers have been adversely affected by recent rainy weather, resulting in stunted growth and development. Liu Runxuan and Xue Yaxin, a student from the 2022 Agricultural College, actively contacted experts and professors in the peanut field at the school, proposing measures such as timely weeding and soil cultivation, pre rain spraying for flood prevention, and post rain spraying for remediation to reduce peanut production losses.
