It is found through trial that from 2002 to 2023, the defendant Dong Yunhu used his position as Director of the Seventh Bureau of the Central Foreign Publicity Office, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xizang Autonomous Region and head of the Publicity Department, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and head of the Publicity Department, secretary and chairman of the Party Leadership Group of the CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee, secretary and director of the Party Leadership Group of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, as well as the convenient conditions for the formation of his authority and status, to provide assistance to relevant units and individuals in financing loans, land transfer, enterprise operation and personnel arrangements, and illegally received property from the above-mentioned units and individuals, amounting to more than 148 million yuan. The Intermediate People's Court of Hefei City believes that the defendant Dong Yunhu's behavior constitutes the crime of bribery, with a particularly large amount of bribery and causing significant losses to the interests of the country and the people.
