The recently released "2023 Global Theme Parks and Museums Report: Global Major Tourist Attraction Report" shows that a total of 7 museums in China are listed in the top 20 in the world, accounting for one-third. These 7 Chinese museums are: National Museum of China, Museum of Science and Technology of China, Nanjing Museum, Suzhou Museum, Hunan Museum, Hubei Provincial Museum, and Guangdong Provincial Museum. The National Museum of China is located at 16 East Chang'an Avenue, Dongcheng District, Beijing, on the east side of Tiananmen Square. There are currently over 460000 pieces (sets) of collections, including 1095 pieces (sets) of national first-class cultural relics, collectively known as the "Top Ten Treasures of Town Museums". These ten "treasures of the town hall" are the skull fossils of Yunxian people, the jade statue of Shijiahe people, the bronze drum of Chongyang Shang Dynasty, the sword of King Goujian of Yue, the Bianzhong of Marquis Yi of Zeng, the Zunpan of Marquis Yi of Zeng, the bird frame drum of Tiger Seat, the painted figures traveling by carriage and horse, the Qin bamboo slips of Yunmeng Sleeping Tiger Land, and the plum vase of Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Four Loves. Among them, the sword of King Goujian of Yue is known as the "number one sword in the world" due to its exquisite craftsmanship, clear patterns after more than 2500 years, and no rust. This sword was unearthed in a lacquered wooden scabbard, and when it was unsheathed, it still shone with a cold light, dazzling the eyes. Its blade was thin and sharp, and it was tested to be able to easily cut through 20 pieces of white paper at once. There are two lines of bird seal script inscriptions on the front of the sword near the blade, which read "King of Yue Jiuqian Self Acting Sword". According to expert research, Jiuqian is Goujian, and the eight character inscription indicates the identity and status of this sword. Guangdong Provincial Museum Guangdong Provincial Museum (Guangzhou Lu Xun Memorial Hall) now has the Pearl River New Town Museum Area and Wenming Road Museum Area. The collection is the culmination of Lingnan cultural relics, integrating various types of history, art, revolution, nature, and more. It is the museum with the largest number of collections, the most diverse categories, and the most distinctive features in South China. One of the "treasures of the museum" is the bronze plaque with animal face patterns from the Western Zhou Dynasty, which is 26.2 centimeters high and 14.2 centimeters in diameter. It is a representative vessel for holding wine. The body of Xu resembles a tripod, with Kui patterns on the neck and diagonal thunder patterns on the shoulders. The abdomen is bounded by the crotch, and each foot is composed of a set of gluttonous patterns made up of thunder patterns. The hand is made up of two hollowed out Kui dragons combined. Clever conception and intricate patterns, it can be regarded as a masterpiece of bronze art.
