The "Dili and Diya" caf é is located on Boyi Street in Wusitang, the ancient city of Kashgar, and is not very prominent among the rows of shops. The wooden entrance of the coffee shop is carved with the names of the couple, and their wedding photos are hung on the small blue door. In the photo, Haidiya comes from Zanzibar Island in Tanzania, East Africa, and Dilixati is a local of Kashgar, Xinjiang. Ten years ago, the two of them were studying together in Fujian. Haidiya became acquainted with Dilixiati while searching for fresh lamb. From then on, their life trajectories began to intertwine, from knowing each other to falling in love, and then joining hands to enter the hall of marriage. In 2020, they got married in Kashgar, the hometown of Dilixati. In 2022, when Haidiya was six months pregnant, both the couple resigned from their jobs in Fuzhou and returned to Kashgar. Taking advantage of the tourism boom in Kashgar, the "Dili and Diya" coffee shop is bustling with customers every day. Heidi found a sense of belonging here. (New Society)
