2024-08-26
On the 26th, it was learned from Taiyuan Customs that after passing the inspection of Jinyang Customs under Taiyuan Customs, 1680 kilograms of rice dumplings produced by Shanxi Zhaoyang Food Technology Co., Ltd. were successfully exported to Japan. This is the first export of Shanxi Province's Guoba, achieving a breakthrough of "zero" export of Shanxi Guoba. Walking into Shanxi Zhaoyang Food Technology Co., Ltd. located in Pingyao County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, the production lines are producing various flavors of crispy rice balls such as cumin flavor, Sichuan spicy flavor, and Korean sauce flavor. The company uses traditional steaming and cooking techniques for its rice cakes, with a rice content of over 90%. The export process went smoothly, and the customs provided business guidance for the entire export process Du Wuchen, the person in charge of Shanxi Zhaoyang Food Technology Co., Ltd., said that although the current export volume of the enterprise is not large, it is connecting with multiple foreign customers. The next step is to accelerate the export of traditional Shanxi specialty foods such as Pingyao oil tea and baked bread slices to "test the waters". In order to promote the "going global" of Pingyao Guoba, Jinyang Customs has conducted a detailed understanding of the difficulties encountered by enterprises in the export process, sorted out and formed a "problem ledger", and solved them item by item through cancellation; Guide enterprises to establish a sound quality and safety management system, conduct supervision, sampling, and risk monitoring of exported rice cakes, track testing results in real time, and issue relevant inspection and quarantine certificates in a timely manner; Explaining relevant policies such as filing, export clearance procedures, and customs supervision to enterprises, further reducing clearance time. Jinyang Customs stated that in the next step, it will continue to play its functional role, based on its geographical advantages, optimize the business environment at the port, and help more characteristic foods from Shanxi to be exported overseas.
