China successfully launches Zhongxing-4A satellite

At 20:25 on August 22, China successfully launched the Zhongxing-4A satellite into orbit using the Long March 7 carrier rocket from the Wenchang Space Launch Site. The satellite entered its designated orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The Zhongxing 4A satellite is a communication and broadcasting satellite developed by the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, which can provide users with voice, data, and broadcasting and television transmission services. The Long March 7 carrier rocket was developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and is a new generation of medium-sized high orbit liquid carrier rocket in China. The reporter learned from the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation that the Long March 7 modified carrier rocket used for this mission adopts a basic configuration of a 4.2-meter diameter fairing and is equipped with new sensors, which can accumulate flight data for optimizing the rocket payload in the future.
