Li Qiang stated that the traditional friendship between China and Belarus has a long history.   China is willing to work with Belarus to fully implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, firmly support each other in safeguarding core interests, and remain a true friend and good partner of each other. We will maintain the healthy and stable development of bilateral relations at a high level, promote continuous deepening of cooperation in various fields, and better promote each other's modernization construction.
Li Qiang pointed out that China is willing to give full play to the role of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee between the two countries, strengthen the docking of development strategies, jointly build the "the Belt and Road" in high quality, further explore the potential for cooperation in trade and investment, digital economy, green development and other fields, and expand people to people and cultural exchanges in education, culture, tourism and other fields. China is willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with Belarus in multilateral mechanisms such as the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, actively implement the three major global initiatives, promote the practice of true multilateralism, and work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
Golovchenko stated that under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, significant progress has been made in Belarus China relations in recent years. Belarus is willing to be a good friend and partner of China, firmly adhere to the One China principle, and firmly support China's position on issues related to Hong Kong, Xinjiang, Tibet, and other areas. The support and help provided by China over the years has strongly promoted the economic and social development of Belarus. Belarus is willing to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state with China, close exchanges at all levels, expand practical cooperation in trade, industry, science and technology, agriculture and other fields under the framework of the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", strengthen local and people to people exchanges, close international and multilateral cooperation, and constantly enrich the connotation of the all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between Belarus and China.
Li Qiang and Golovchenko jointly announced the official launch of the "2024-2025 China Belarus Science and Technology Innovation Year", establishing the China Belarus Basic Science Research Center and the China Book Center of the National Library of Belarus. After the talks, the prime ministers of the two countries signed the Joint Communiqu é of the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Belarus, jointly witnessed the signing of a number of bilateral cooperation documents in the areas of jointly building the "the Belt and Road" cooperation, service trade and investment, green development, science and technology, people to people and cultural exchanges, and local affairs, and jointly met with journalists.
Before the meeting, Golovchenko held a grand welcoming ceremony for Li Qiang. Li Qiang reviewed the honor guard accompanied by Golovchenko.
