307 cross-border telecom network fraud suspect were handed over to us

It is reported that recently, the Ministry of Public Security deployed the public security organs of Yunnan Province to carry out border police law enforcement cooperation with relevant local law enforcement departments in Myanmar, and successfully captured 307 Chinese suspect who committed cross-border telecommunications network fraud, including 20 fugitives online. At present, all suspects have been transferred to our side. Since last year, the Ministry of Public Security has continued to deepen international police and law enforcement cooperation with Myanmar's law enforcement departments, and has jointly carried out a series of crackdowns. A total of more than 50000 Chinese suspect involved in fraud have been handed over to us. Recently, under the command and deployment of the Ministry of Public Security, the public security organs of Yunnan Province and the relevant local law enforcement departments of Myanmar carried out border police and law enforcement cooperation, and successfully arrested 307 Chinese suspect who committed cross-border telecommunications network fraud in the North Wa region of Myanmar, including 20 online fugitives, and seized a large number of mobile phones, computers and other crime tools. At present, all suspect and evidence articles involved in the case have been successfully handed over to us through Menglian Port. At the same time, the public security organ of Yunnan Province has carried out synchronous network access for nine suspect involved in the case, and the case investigation is in progress. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Public Security stated that the public security organs will further strengthen international and border police law enforcement cooperation, continuously increase crackdown efforts, continue to organize special crackdown actions, comprehensively eliminate fraud dens, lawfully arrest fraudsters, resolutely and thoroughly eradicate the "cancer" of telecommunications network fraud crimes in northern Myanmar, and effectively safeguard the property safety and legitimate rights and interests of the people.
