On August 21st, the 6th China Africa Media Cooperation Forum and China Africa Think Tank High end Dialogue were held in Beijing. Li Shulei, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

The Forum on China Africa Cooperation Summit is about to be held grandly, which will be another grand event to strengthen China Africa friendship and unity. Media think tank personnel should promote the concept of truth, closeness, and sincerity, continue traditional friendship, and jointly tell the story of China Africa cooperation and development, contributing to the joint promotion of modernization between China and Africa.

The attending guests believe that the modernization achievements made by China and Africa demonstrate that developing countries have the right and ability to independently explore their own distinctive modernization paths based on their own national conditions. We should prioritize modernization in the narrative of public opinion and think tank research in Central Africa, conduct in-depth research and dissemination of modernization concepts and practices in developing countries, jointly explore higher quality, more resilient, and more inclusive ways of development and prosperity, and provide intellectual and public opinion support for countries in the "global South" to solve the difficulties of modernization development.

The forum, with the theme of "Joining Hands on the Road to Modernization", is guided by the State Council Information Office and hosted by the State Administration of Radio and Television, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Beijing Municipal People's Government, and the African Broadcasting Union. During the forum, relevant departments and institutions in China and Africa signed 6 agreements on broadcasting and television, released 20 cooperation projects, and held activities such as the "Friendship and Cooperation" Achievement Exhibition. More than 500 representatives from government departments, media, think tanks, and international organizations from China and over 40 African countries attended the conference.
