On the 19th, Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, met with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the People's Republic of China, Sulin, and Prime Minister of Fiji, Rambuka, respectively in Beijing.
China is willing to work with Vietnam to follow the strategic consensus of the top leaders of the two parties and countries, promote the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Vietnam, and contribute to their respective socialist modernization efforts. The National People's Congress of China is willing to work with the Vietnamese Congress to implement the bilateral cooperation agreement, make good use of the counterpart exchange mechanism, promote multi-channel cooperation, strengthen the exchange of legislative and supervisory experience, and provide legal protection for the construction of a community of shared future between China and Vietnam.
Sulin stated that Vietnam has always regarded the development of relations with China as a strategic choice and top priority, and is willing to deepen practical cooperation in various fields with China, closely engage in legislative exchanges, and deeply promote the construction of a strategically significant Vietnam China community with a shared future.

During the meeting with Rambuka, Zhao Leji stated that Fiji was one of the earliest Pacific island countries to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China, and China Fiji relations have become a model of equal treatment and friendly cooperation between countries big and small. The Chinese side highly appreciates Fiji's long-term adherence to the One China principle and is willing to work together with Fiji to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, promote traditional friendship, consolidate political mutual trust, continue to expand all-round mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the development of China Fiji comprehensive strategic partnership. The National People's Congress of China is willing to continue to strengthen exchanges and exchanges at all levels with the Parliament of Fiji, approve relevant legal documents in a timely manner, and provide legal protection for bilateral cooperation.
