Liu Haitao, Deputy Director of the National Migration Administration, said at the meeting that since this year, the country has cracked more than 22000 criminal cases of various kinds that hinder the management of the national border (frontier), captured more than 39000 suspect, and seized more than 6000 people who are smuggled abroad. Together with relevant countries, the country has successfully arrested 103 target fugitives who have fled overseas, and the effect of combating deterrence continues to increase.
