China's first fixed wing maritime professional search and rescue aircraft officially listed

On the morning of the 8th, China's first fixed wing search and rescue aircraft at sea, the Air King 350ER fixed wing aircraft, officially joined the East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport in Fuzhou, Fujian, and began to carry out standby tasks for maritime search and rescue. This marks the expansion of China's professional maritime rescue force's flight search and rescue radius from 200 nautical miles to 1000 nautical miles. The Air King 350ER equipped this time is a long-range, high-performance fixed wing aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of 7.5 tons, a maximum range of 2570 nautical miles, a search and rescue radius of up to 1000 nautical miles, a maximum flight speed of 561 kilometers per hour, and the ability to take off and land under conditions of visibility not less than 800 meters and runway length greater than 1300 meters. Except for extreme weather conditions, the ability to perform 24-hour all-weather instrument, night navigation, and freezing conditions for maritime search and rescue missions will significantly enhance China's comprehensive strength in deep-sea and maritime emergency rescue. It is reported that currently, China's transportation rescue system has deployed 218 high-powered rescue ships, 24 rescue helicopters, 1 fixed wing aircraft, and 19 emergency rescue teams in the three major sea areas of the North Sea, East China Sea, and South China Sea, effectively enhancing the search and rescue capabilities of professional maritime rescue teams.
