Wang Yi holds talks with Zambian Foreign Minister Hanbe

On July 31st, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Foreign Minister, held talks with Zambian Foreign Minister Hanbe in Beijing. Wang Yi introduced the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC, and expressed that China is willing to strengthen exchanges of experience in governance with Zambia, support Zambia to explore a development path that conforms to its own national conditions, and help Zambia promote the modernization process. The new Forum on China Africa Cooperation Summit will be held in Beijing in September this year. We are willing to take this opportunity to host this grand event with African countries, inherit the traditional friendship between China and Africa, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for China and Africa to a new level. Hanbei expressed that Zambia is willing to take the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as an opportunity to promote greater development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Zambia and China.
