Thanks to the continuous improvement of network coverage, China's Internet penetration rate reached 77.5%, and the number of Internet users reached 1.092 billion. Domestic large-scale model products continue to emerge, with significant breakthroughs in key core technologies such as intelligent chips and development frameworks. The number of related patent applications and authorizations ranks among the top in the world. 6G vision concept, technology research, research and development verification have achieved phased results, ranking among the top tier in the world. Nine enterprises ranked among the top 30 global Internet enterprises in terms of market value, and the number of "unicorn" enterprises reached 375. The comprehensive strength of enterprises has steadily improved. New consumer growth points such as domestic "trendy products" and smart products continue to emerge, and new formats such as live streaming sales and ride hailing play an important role in promoting flexible employment and serving economic development. Applications such as online office and video conference help new experience of production services. All primary and secondary schools across the country have full access to the Internet, and all prefecture level and county level telemedicine services have been covered. The number of "5G+Industrial Internet" projects exceeded 13000, and the cumulative number of 5G industry application cases exceeded 94000. The role of enabling new industrialization continued to emerge. Wu Hequan, academician of the CAE Member, said that with the help of artificial intelligence, the combination of digital world and physical world has improved the ability of the Internet to access physical entities and serve vertical industries. While promoting industrial digitalization, it has also driven the development of digital industrialization and the Internet industry. Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, believes that the big model will usher in a new round of industrial revolution, and all Internet applications will be reshaped, which also brings new revolutionary opportunities to the Internet industry and strengthens the demand for Internet entrepreneurship and investment. It should also be noted that without the development of the Internet, there would be no development of artificial intelligence. It is thanks to the accumulation of computing power, data, algorithms, etc. of the Internet that the foundation for the development of artificial intelligence is laid.
