The first launch of the "Guangdong Yunnan Lancang Mekong Line" international freight train and the China Laos Thailand international freight train (Kunming Bangkok) was held on the 24th at Wangjiaying West Station in Kunming, Yunnan Province, marking the official launch of two international freight trains. As an international freight channel jointly built by Guangdong Province and Yunnan Province, the first "Guangdong Yunnan Lancang Mekong Line" international freight train departs from Laos, passes through China Laos Railway to Kunming Wangjiaying West Station, and then passes through China Railway Network to Guangdong Province. The categories include Thai durian, mangosteen, Laotian cassava flour and other products. The first China Laos Thailand international freight train (Kunming Bangkok) starts from Guangzhou, passes through China Railway Network to Kunming Wangjiaying West Station, then along the China Laos Railway to Laos, and finally arrives in Thailand via Thailand Laos cross-border railway. Its sources of goods include furniture, kitchenware, household appliances, building materials, machinery and equipment from Guangdong, as well as vegetables from Yunnan. On July 24th, the "Guangdong Yunnan Lancang Mekong Line" international freight train and the China Laos Thailand international freight train (Kunming Bangkok) slowly departed from Wangjiaying West Station in Kunming. Li Jiaxian, a reporter from China News Service, photographed that the China Laos railway, as a landmark project of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, since its opening on December 3, 2021, the passenger and freight transport service network has spread to 12 countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road", including Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and 31 major cities in China. As of now, the cumulative transportation of goods has exceeded 41.6 million tons, and the transportation of cross-border goods has exceeded 9.8 million tons, with an average of 18 international freight trains operating daily. Next, the "Guangdong Yunnan Lancang Mekong Line" international freight train and the China Laos Thailand international freight train can be connected to China's railway network northward through the China Laos railway, radiate to Russia through the China Europe train, and then connect to Europe, as far as Germany, Spain and other countries; To the south, it can connect with Thailand's meter gauge network and reach ports in southern Thailand, all the way to Malaysia and Singapore.
