The first feeling upon entering the low-temperature warehouse is that it quickly transitions from scorching heat to cool air, reducing the temperature by at least half compared to the outside. Let's take a look, the current temperature in this warehouse is around 18 degrees Celsius, and the humidity is between 67% and 68%. The taste is almost identical to that of new rice, which is the biggest function of the low-temperature storage. The 8000 ton autonomous temperature controlled intelligent three-dimensional warehouse does not require too many workers, and the entire grain warehouse can be easily managed by only three or four people. It is reported that the Shazhou Central Warehouse has collected more than ten green grain storage technologies, among which five are related to temperature control, with clever techniques for sun protection, insulation, and cooling. The roof, floor, four walls, and six sides of the warehouse have been insulated, just like putting a "cooling suit" on the granary, making it a true "cooling warehouse". According to a special survey by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, about 14% of global food is lost in the supply chain from harvest to retail due to the busy use of green warehousing for quality preservation and food conservation. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, China continued to carry out grain conservation actions, vigorously promoting the application of green grain storage and other technologies, accelerating the implementation of green grain storage improvement actions, and promoting grain conservation and loss reduction throughout the entire chain. Since the 14th Five Year Plan, China has made significant technological breakthroughs in the integration and industrialization demonstration of key technologies for post harvest storage, quality reduction, and green intelligent warehousing of grain, as well as in the logistics, warehousing, and allocation of emergency supplies. China has built and upgraded warehouses with a capacity of over 65 million tons, and the green storage efficiency and performance of grain warehouses are constantly improving. By increasing investment and promoting the construction of storage facilities, a grain collection and storage guarantee system that is compatible with grain production, storage, and circulation has been basically formed. As of now, there are a total of 200 million tons of low-temperature and quasi low-temperature grain storage warehouses and 55 million tons of controlled atmosphere grain storage warehouses in China. The comprehensive loss rate of state-owned grain depots during the grain storage cycle is controlled within a reasonable range of 1%.
