Entering the critical period of "seven down and eight up" flood prevention, the task of flood prevention and rescue is heavy. Recently, extremely heavy rainstorm occurred in Nanyang City, Henan Province. At 7:00 on the 16th, Nanyang City launched a first level emergency response for flood prevention. The Henan Military Region immediately established a forward command post and went to the disaster stricken front lines in Sheqi County and Tanghe County to command on-site. They have organized and deployed more than 2900 militia members, carrying 86 assault boats and rubber boats, to search for and evacuate trapped civilians. The Henan Armed Police Corps urgently dispatched more than 1000 officers and soldiers, carrying rescue supplies, to rush to the front line of the mission in multiple ways. Hundreds of people in Dafengying Town, Sheqi County were trapped by floods. The officers and soldiers of the Nanyang Branch of the People's Armed Police urgently mobilized to participate in the search and rescue of the trapped people and the transfer of materials. The officers and soldiers of the Armed Police Luohe Detachment quickly arrived near the Second Primary School in Sheqi County to search and rescue the masses, block the pipeline, and reinforce the dam. The officers and soldiers of the Henan Mobile Detachment of the People's Armed Police rushed to Tanghe County for rescue, using assault boats, large machinery and equipment. Affected by heavy rainfall, some farmland in Guzhen Town, Yu'an District, Lu'an City, Anhui Province has been flooded, and the safety of people's lives and property along the river has been threatened. After receiving orders, a detachment of the Second Mobile Brigade of the People's Armed Police rushed to the front line with rescue equipment to assist in transferring trapped people.
