In order to further strengthen the standardization construction of religious groups, promote the implementation of comprehensive strict governance of religion, and continuously deepen the construction of the religious staff team, on the afternoon of July 8th, Xiaoshan District held a meeting to support the promotion of comprehensive strict governance of religion in the religious community, with more than 50 executive directors (standing members) of various religious groups attending the meeting. Kong Jiandong, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the District Committee and Director of the District Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Cao Yan, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the District Committee and Deputy Director of the District Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau, presided over the meeting. The meeting summarized and reviewed the main work of the first half of the year, focusing on studying and analyzing the main problems currently existing in the religious community, and proposing requirements for the next steps of work. The meeting pointed out that in the first half of the year, with the understanding, support, and joint efforts of various religious groups and their teams, new achievements have been made in various key tasks such as standardized management of venues, promoting the Sinicization of religions, guiding religious affairs, and ensuring safety and stability. The meeting emphasized that the religious organization team is the leader of the religious community and the key to the construction of the religious staff. Each group should have a clear understanding of the shortcomings in their own construction, further enhance their understanding, draw lessons from others, deeply reflect, and continuously improve and enhance themselves. We must closely focus on the overall goal of building a qualified religious staff team that is politically reliable, has religious attainments, morally convincing, and plays a crucial role, and strive to make sufficient efforts in six aspects. One is to adhere to loving the Party and loving the country, and always be a clear understanding person with a firm political stance. As a representative figure in the religious community of Xiaoshan District, loving the Party, loving the country, and loving socialism are the most basic qualities. Secondly, we must prioritize learning and always be a leader in improving our quality and cultivation. The development of religion in any era cannot be separated from economic and social development, and requires continuous learning and self-improvement. The third is to adhere to seeking common ground while reserving differences, and always be a caring person who unites and develops. Religious groups are the bridge and link between the Party and the government and religious believers, and must be based on the overall situation, sincere unity, and make contributions. Fourthly, we must adhere to the law and regulations, and always be a trustworthy person who fulfills our duties and responsibilities. Religious organizations are the staff and assistants of the Party and the government in managing religious affairs in accordance with the law. Members of the leadership should consciously respect the law, abide by the law, and use the law, and play a leading role in demonstration. The fifth is to adhere to the principle of using heart and emotions, and always be a model person in serving the general public. Adhering to the direction of Sinicization of religion in our country is an important proposition of our party to solve religious problems, an important task of religious work in the new era, and an inherent requirement for the healthy inheritance of religion. At the meeting, the United Front Work Department of the District Committee (District Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau) made specific arrangements to support the religious community in promoting comprehensive strict governance of religion and related key work in the near future.
