International seminar on high-definition stage art images held in Beijing

The "Drama Light and Shadow -2024 Beijing International High Definition Stage Art Image Week" hosted by the China Dramatists Association and the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles opened in Beijing on July 4th. As an international seminar event focused on high-definition stage art imaging, the two-week Imaging Week brings together professionals from China, the United Kingdom, Russia, and South Korea in the field of theatrical imaging to give speeches and engage in discussions. Additionally, 20 high-definition Chinese and foreign theatrical images are screened. High definition stage art imagery is a cross-border art form that has emerged in the past 20 years. Stage art works are filmed from multiple locations and then broadcasted or recorded in theaters and cinemas through satellite and high-speed network transmission equipment, allowing more audiences to appreciate excellent stage art works from around the world beyond time and space limitations. During the seminar on the opening day, relevant leaders from institutions such as Beijing People's Art Theatre, China National Theatre, Shanghai Theatre Art Center, UK National Theatre, UK Shakespeare Globe Theatre, and South Korean "Stage Seeing" Production Company discussed and exchanged ideas on the impact of high-definition stage image industry development on stage art creation, the shooting of high-definition stage images, and the further industrialization, professionalization, and internationalization of Chinese high-definition stage image content.
