As of the early morning of the 3rd, the officers and soldiers of the department have searched and rescued a total of 42 trapped people, filled more than 2600 sandbags, and cleared 15 roads in mountainous areas. The People's Armed Forces Department of Pingjiang County organized 180 militia members, carrying equipment such as assault boats and rubber boats, to carry out emergency and disaster relief tasks in severely affected streets and towns, and transferred 871 trapped people. On the evening of July 2nd to 3rd, multiple rivers in Jiangxi Province were still operating at high water levels, and multiple embankments in Poyang County, Shangrao City and Yongxiu County, Jiujiang City were affected by risks such as bubbling and piping. The Jiangxi Armed Police Force dispatched more than 130 officers and soldiers in batches to the scene to undertake the tasks of sealing bubbles, piping, and reinforcing embankments. As of 18:00 on the 3rd, a total of 8 fountains and pipes have been sealed, more than 5600 sandbags have been transported, and more than 100 cubic meters of soil and rock have been transported.
