In the face of the ever-changing and intertwined international situation, both sides should continue to uphold the original intention of friendship for generations, adhere to the perseverance of benefiting the people, continuously cultivate the unique value of China Russia relations, tap into the endogenous driving force of cooperation between the two countries, and make new efforts to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the two countries and the basic norms of international relations.
China supports Russia in fulfilling its responsibilities as the rotating presidency of the BRICS countries, uniting the "global south", preventing the "new cold war", and opposing illegal unilateral sanctions and hegemonism. Tomorrow, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Astana Summit will be held. China looks forward to working with Russia and other member states to promote the stable and far-reaching development of our organization, and to build a closer community with a shared future for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. China and Russia should continue to strengthen comprehensive strategic cooperation, oppose external interference, and jointly maintain peace and stability in the region.
We celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China together and make plans for the future development of Russia China relations. At present, Russia China relations are at the highest level in history, with mutual respect, equality, and mutual benefit. Russia China relations are not aligned or targeted at third parties, which is in line with the well-being of the two peoples. The Russian side supports China in safeguarding its core interests and legitimate rights and interests, and opposes external forces interfering in China's internal affairs and interfering in the South China Sea issue. China is about to take over as the rotating presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Russia will fully support China's work, work with other member states to continuously enhance the international influence of the organization, maintain regional peace and security, and promote the development of the international system towards a more just and reasonable direction. As the rotating presidency of the BRICS countries this year, Russia looks forward to strengthening communication and cooperation with China on BRICS cooperation.
