The 10th Representative Conference of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles was held in Beijing

The 10th Congress of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles was held in Beijing from June 30th to July 1st. More than 390 representatives from various literary and artistic fields in the capital attended the conference. The meeting reviewed the significant achievements made by the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the cultural and artistic work in the capital over the past five years, and outlined a blueprint for the development of the capital's cultural and artistic industry in the next five years. The attending representatives had in-depth discussions on creating a new realm of the capital's cultural and artistic industry and forging new brilliance in the capital's cultural and artistic work. The meeting pointed out that literary and artistic workers should consciously shoulder the new journey and cultural mission, and use rich and colorful capital literature and art to express the diverse development of the capital in the new era. The meeting reviewed and approved the work report of the 9th Council of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, revised the articles of association of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and elected a new leadership collective of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Han Zirong was elected as the Chairman of the 10th Council of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Ma Xinming was elected as Executive Vice Chairman, Lv Qin, Bai Jingyi, Lai Hongbo, Han Yunsheng, and Dong Xin were elected as Full time Vice Chairmen, Ma Guoying was elected as Temporary Vice Chairman, Li Rongfei (Li Er), Feng Yuanzheng, Fan Dian, Ye Peigui, Li Jihui, Li Xincao, Chen Weiya, Zhao Shiyu, Li Weijian, Li Chi, Yu Junsheng, Huang Jianxin, Wang Yichuan, Zhang Wei (Tang Family Third Young Master), Meng Yan, and Gong Yu were elected as Part time Vice Chairmen. The conference also awarded commemorative certificates to the departing members of the 9th leadership of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. The Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles was established in 1950. It is a people's organization led by the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, consisting of various literary and artistic associations in the city, various district literary and artistic associations, and various municipal bureaus and industry literary and artistic associations. In the past five years, the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles has carried out a lot of effective work in ideological and political guidance, themed cultural and artistic practice, boutique cultural and artistic creation, cultural and artistic exchange and cooperation, talent team construction, cultural and artistic volunteer services, etc., promoting the prosperity and development of the capital's cultural and artistic activities with remarkable achievements. Han Zirong stated that in the next five years, the work of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the development of literature and art will face new situations and tasks.
