When the special plane arrived at Astana Nazarbayev International Airport, Kazakhstani President Tokayev led the government's First Deputy Prime Minister Sklyar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nurtreu, Presidential Foreign Affairs Advisor Kazihan, Astana Mayor Kasembek and other senior officials warmly welcomed it.  
More than 100 honor guards stood tall and upright, and the military band played welcoming songs and welcoming horns.  
More than ten Kazakh children sang "Singing of the Motherland" in Chinese.
In the 32 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, China Kazakhstan relations have withstood the test of changes in the times and international changes, forming a unique permanent comprehensive strategic partnership, and setting a model of cooperation, mutual benefit, and mutual achievement among neighboring countries. Eleven years ago, I first proposed the initiative to jointly build the Silk Road Economic Belt in Kazakhstan. Today, China and Kazakhstan have achieved fruitful results in jointly building the "the Belt and Road". I look forward to exchanging in-depth views with President Tokayev on China Kazakhstan relations and international and regional issues of common concern, and drawing new blueprints and making new deployments for the development of China Kazakhstan's permanent comprehensive strategic partnership. I also look forward to attending the Astana Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, discussing the future of the organization with all parties, discussing cooperation plans, and promoting new and greater development of this important multilateral mechanism.
