The 7th World Forum on the Development and Governance of Science and Technology Societies will be held from July 2nd to 3rd in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The forum, with the theme of "open governance, inclusive and win-win", invites leaders of domestic and foreign science and technology associations and international organizations, leaders of various societies across the country, research experts of science and technology associations, etc. to jointly discuss new models and paths for science and technology associations to improve governance efficiency, promote talent growth, and empower new productive forces under the new situation, and jointly create a new pattern for the development of global science and technology associations with open governance and common prosperity. The forum is hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and organized by the Science and Technology Innovation Department of the China Association for Science and Technology, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Association for Science and Technology, and the China Society of Automotive Engineering. It is one of the parallel forums of the 26th China Association for Science and Technology Annual Meeting. During the forum, activities such as keynote speeches, thematic dialogues, closed door meetings on science and technology community governance, Youth Frontier Science and Technology Forum, and China ASEAN Science and Technology Community Integration and Development Forum will be held. The leaders and experts of science and technology organizations such as the Asia Pacific Federation of Engineering Organizations, the British Society of Engineering and Technology, the Chinese Society of Higher Education, and the Chinese Society of Metals will give keynote speeches on the service of science and technology innovation, participation in science and technology governance, and transformation and development of science and technology organizations. It is understood that the World Forum on the Development and Governance of Science and Technology Societies has been successfully held for six sessions, achieving a series of fruitful international scientific and technological cooperation results, and has become an important platform for exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign science and technology societies.
