Recently, the Vocational and Technical Education Center in Tongjiang City, Heilongjiang Province welcomed a special guest - Uvalova Irina, a Russian oil painting teacher who has been teaching for 30 years. She will hold a three-month cultural exchange activity in Tongjiang. The arrival of this Russian oil painting teacher not only showcases exquisite painting skills to students, but also promotes exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia in the field of art education. According to Uvalova Irina, during her education in Russia, she developed a strong interest in Chinese culture. She is fascinated by Chinese classical literature, traditional art, and folk customs. At the Vocational and Technical Education Center in Tongjiang City, in addition to regular teaching, Uvalova Irina also followed a group of experienced "little teachers" in the dance class to learn the technique of turning handkerchiefs, winning applause and recognition from everyone present. "Tongjiang, a beautiful place with rich cultural heritage, unique natural scenery, ancient traditions, and modern atmosphere, has provided me with infinite creative inspiration." Uvalova Irina expressed her hope that by teaching oil painting in Tongjiang, more people can understand and appreciate the beauty of China.
