On the afternoon of June 27th, the Supreme People's Court held a special symposium on "Strengthening Judicial Protection of Scientific and Technological Innovation Intellectual Property Rights to Assist in the Development of New Quality Productivity". Tao Kaiyuan, Vice President of the Supreme People's Court, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. At the meeting, the person in charge of the Intellectual Property Court of the Supreme People's Court introduced the work of the Intellectual Property Court in providing services to ensure technological innovation and promoting the development of new productive forces since its establishment. The judges responsible for handling the cases focused on interpreting some typical cases. Ma Yide and Zhang Tao, deputies to the National People's Congress, Teng Shujing and Wei Qingsong, members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, representatives of social organizations, representatives of experts and scholars Yi Jiming, Zhang Guangliang, Feng Xiaoqing, Guan Yuying, and heads of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the relevant departments of the China National Intellectual Property Administration attended the forum and made speeches. Tao Kaiyuan emphasized that the People's Court should conscientiously implement the spirit of the National Science and Technology Conference and the deployment requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on "developing new quality productive forces", embrace the "great cause of the country", and provide high-quality and efficient intellectual property judicial protection work to better serve the protection of scientific and technological innovation and assist in the development of new quality productive forces.
