On June 21, officers and soldiers of Mount Huangshan Detachment of Anhui Armed Police Corps carried out dredging work in Shexian County. In recent days, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, and Guangxi have been hit by continuous heavy rainfall, causing casualties and property damage. The officers and soldiers of the People's Liberation Army and the People's Armed Police Force, as well as the militia, continue to fight on the front line of flood prevention and disaster relief, helping the affected people and working hard to eliminate dangerous situations. Landslides near several villages in She County, Mount Huangshan City, Anhui Province, interrupted roads and damaged houses. After the disaster, the People's Armed Forces Department of the Mount Huangshan Military Subarea Organization immediately started the rescue work. As of 18:00 on the 22nd, the military district has dispatched 45 batches of 1019 militiamen to 64 locations to carry out emergency personnel and material transfers, reinforce embankments, and other tasks. A total of more than 960 people have been transferred, 58 kilometers of roads have been cleared, and 9 tons of materials have been transferred. A certain unit of the People's Armed Police divided into two routes and worked hard to clear the road to the village, set up an emergency bridge, and opened up a rescue life passage. As of 18:00 on the 22nd, the department has cleared 42 collapsed areas with a total volume of 18600 cubic meters and cleared 46 kilometers of roads. The Mount Huangshan Detachment of the Anhui Armed Police Corps continued to support the recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas. As of 18:00 on the 22nd, it had cleared more than 50 cubic meters of sludge and more than 70 tons of garbage, helped the affected people transfer more than 5000 pieces of materials, and put 9 batches of food, generators and other materials. The medical team distributed medical supplies to the affected population and carried out disinfection operations. Affected by sustained heavy rainfall, many areas in Longyan City, Fujian Province have been severely affected by the disaster. The Longyan Military Sub district dispatched officers, soldiers, and militia to quickly engage in rescue and post disaster reconstruction work. As of 18:00 on the 22nd, the Longyan Military Sub district has dispatched more than 1200 people, mobilized 251 rescue vehicles of various types, and successively rescued and transferred more than 330 disaster affected people, cleared more than 100 collapsed and congested road sections, cleared 22 kilometers of roads, cleared 9.6 kilometers of flooded roads, assisted in clearing 108 affected businesses and residential buildings along the street, transported nearly 20 tons of disaster relief materials, and cleared more than 1900 cubic meters of silt. The disaster situation in Guangdong continues, and the Meizhou Military Sub district has dispatched 20 batches of 2068 militiamen to carry out disaster relief work. After several days of continuous fighting, as of 18:00 on the 22nd, the military division has transferred more than 5550 people, cleared 41 kilometers of roads, cleared more than 2960 cubic meters of silt, seized about 120 meters of reservoir flood discharge pipelines, transported 235 tons of materials, and washed more than 1200 square meters. In Guilin, Guangxi, which is also severely affected by the disaster, the Guilin Garrison has dispatched 5 batches of 300 militiamen to key areas to carry out drainage and dredging work, helping the affected people restore normal production and life order. The Guilin Branch of the Guangxi Armed Police Force dispatched 121 officers and soldiers to undertake post disaster dredging tasks. As of 18:00 on the 22nd, a total area of 15200 square meters has been cleared, and more than 150 tons of silt have been cleared. At present, the task force continues to fight on the front line of flood prevention and rescue, assisting the local government in properly resettling the affected people and helping them restore production and living order as soon as possible. At the same time, officers and soldiers of the People's Liberation Army and the People's Armed Police Force in various regions, as well as the militia, are on high alert, improving emergency plans and preparing for various flood prevention measures. A certain brigade of the 73rd Group Army closely organized flood prevention and preparedness work to ensure that in case of danger, they acted upon orders.
