China's Photovoltaic Industry Helps Malaysia's Green Development

This is the Guarakiti photovoltaic power station in the southern part of Kedah, Malaysia (taken on June 6th, drone photo). This power station is operated by Edela Power Holdings Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd., and constructed by China Energy Construction Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. It covers an area of 260 acres with an installed capacity of 50 megawatts and began commercial operation in 2019. In recent years, the participation of Chinese enterprises in the construction and operation of photovoltaic projects in Malaysia has been increasing, providing clean energy for local economic development and people's lives, and also becoming an important driving force for the development of Malaysia's photovoltaic industry.
