Li Qiang said that since the establishment of diplomatic ties 50 years ago, China Malaysia relations have maintained healthy development, strategic mutual trust has continued to consolidate, people to people and cultural exchanges have become increasingly close, and high-quality cooperation on the "the Belt and Road" has yielded fruitful results, bringing tangible benefits to the two peoples, and making positive contributions to regional peace and development.
China is willing to work hand in hand with Malaysia to take the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia as a new starting point, further strengthen the docking of development strategies, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance cultural exchanges and mutual learning, continuously deepen the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Malaysia, and contribute greater strength to regional and global peace, stability, development and prosperity.
