Students from Shipai Central Primary School in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province performed "Blocking the Horse". Recently, the 17th "Beautiful Scenery of Liangchen · Intangible Cultural Heritage Performance Season of Prince Gong's Mansion" was held at the Prince Gong's Mansion Grand Theater in Beijing. As one of the brand cultural activities during the Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, this event is jointly organized by the Gongwang Mansion Museum of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the China Kunqu Opera Guqin Research Association, emphasizing the importance of "inheritance". The Guqin special session with the theme of "Dialogue between Famous Masters and Students" invites many famous qin players such as Wu Zhao, Chen Xigui, Ding Chengyun, Yu Qinqin, Zhao Jiazhen, Li Fengyun, Wang Peng, Lin Chen, Wu Na, Ren Jing, Huang Mei, etc. to perform classic songs such as "Plum Blossom Sannong", "Good Night Citation", and "Pu'an Mantra". Four young students from Peking University stood on stage with famous pianists, building a bridge for communication between their predecessors and descendants through a dialogue on the piano. The Guqin special performance of Tianjin Conservatory of Music showcases the achievements of professional art schools in cultivating a new generation of inheritors over the past 20 years, showcasing the legacy of ancient Chinese music. Graduates of the Guqin major at Tianjin Conservatory of Music and descendants of the Guangling School, who studied under Professor Li Fengyun, jointly took the stage and presented a brilliant performance with lingering notes to the audience. In the Kunqu Opera special session, the audience can not only enjoy the humorous "Lion Roar" brought by the Northern Kunqu Opera Theater, but also see excerpts from the birthplace of Kunqu Opera - the Contemporary Kunqu Opera Theater in Kunshan, Jiangsu, such as "Peony Pavilion: Spring Fragrance in School", "Tiger Bag Bullet: Shanmen", and "Red Pear Story: Tinghui". The children of the Qinfeng Children's Kunqu Opera Troupe at Shipai Central Primary School in Kunshan City and Qiandeng Town performed together with professional actors from Kunshan Contemporary Kunqu Opera Academy, reflecting the relay inheritance of Kunqu art in the local area. In addition, this year's Kunqu opera performance also invited the Kunqu Opera Inheritance and Research Center of Peking University to perform the "University Edition Peony Pavilion" special session, allowing ancient art to bloom with new vitality among young people.
