On the morning of June 16th, the Shanghai International Film Festival held the "Shooting! Production Team - Film and Television Incentive Policies and Location Promotion Conference" at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. This event marked the beginning of the Shanghai International Film Festival's film and television+cultural tourism dual empowerment series of market activities, and is an important activity in the "film market" section. Pi Jian, Director of the Literature and Art Department and the Film Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, conducted a policy promotion for the Guangzhou film industry and prepared for the upcoming "Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Trade Fair" to be held in Guangzhou in September. According to Pi Jian, there are numerous film companies in Guangzhou, and the film market is active. The level of film shooting services and post production bases is constantly improving, and the resources for film festivals and exhibitions are abundant. In recent years, excellent works such as "Chinese Doctors", "The Moon in the Hand", and "Little Starlight" have been launched. In the policy introduction section, the Guangzhou film support policy attracted the attention of industry guests on site. According to Pi Jian, Guangzhou has issued the "Regulations on Supporting the Development of the Film Industry in Guangzhou" and the "Management Measures for Supporting Excellent Cultural and Artistic Projects of the Propaganda Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China", highlighting the new film industry and providing full process support. For key film projects in Guangzhou determined through evaluation, a maximum of 20 million yuan can be supported, and for listed, large and medium-sized film enterprises settled in Guangzhou, a maximum of 5 million yuan can be supported. And the support policies of Guangzhou can be combined with the policies of Guangdong Province and various districts of Guangzhou, achieving linkage at the provincial, municipal, and district levels. The Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Trade Fair will be held in Guangzhou from September 24th to 29th. The expo includes eight major sections: film themed exhibition halls, film equipment and technology product displays, film derivative industry transactions, film promotion and exhibition, and film copyright transactions. It emphasizes promoting industrial development from the perspective of producers, targeting the market, the public, and the international market, focusing on industrial exchanges, technological innovation, and consumer markets, and showcasing the development achievements of film equipment production, film and animation, and cultural and creative industries. In the film market, the "Guangzhou Film Industry Expo and Trade Fair" booth has also attracted the attention of domestic and foreign exhibitors.
